from our sister city Missoula Montana. They visited our city on a major
mission to foster trade, cultural and art links between our cities.
Helped champion social issues
such as the intoduction of the minium number of pokie machines allowable
in the city.
Initiated the introduction of
a fund of $100,000 to develop and promote new festivals and events for
the city
Worked with a team to commence
a process to welcome and introduce new people to the city
Strongly supported the ongoing
development of the Featherston Street Pit
Initiated
and led the team that created the Manawatu Flood Relief Concert
Worked
with Palmerston North Boys High School to create the clearways on thre
road outside the school so that pupils are now far safer coming to school
Working
to make sport a major economic driver for the region
Representing Palmerston North in our Sister City of Kunshan, China, while on business in China
